They aren't on HDNet anymore. Haven't been in a while. If you go to their website, they have a channel finder. It's not available in all markets.

They currently have a deal with Sinclair Broadcasting. They're shown on select markets across the country.

Yes, it is Indy. Until you're national like WWE and TNA and your stars get paid like the stars in TNA and WWE do, you're indy. Hands down.

Technically no they aren't what you would consider an independent considering they have TVs and are owned by a huge company in Sinclair Broadcasting. I also believe the talent have contracts with Ring of Honor. Most, if not all, independent promotions do not contract their talent and are on pay-by-appearance agreements.
