"Tonight's IMPACT Wrestling is brought to you by '5 Hour Energy'..."
- Jeremy Borash (Curly Howard Jr.)
Greetings NoDQ.com,
Here are my thoughts on tonight's CRAZY episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
The show opens with the return of "The Icon" (The Crow) Sting. (THANK GOD) saying how happy he is to have TNA back in the hands of it's rightful owner (Dixie Carter). Then we get Hulk Hogan coming out saying he's glad to be back in the red and yellow.
(Random Question: Where do I get a pair of those awesome looking Nike Shocks?)
Great segment from Hulk and Stinger. I can see them doing a Tag-Team title run possibly in the near future.
In the same segment, Sting calls out Dixie. (THUMBS DOWN) Dixie says that she's sorry to everyone about everything. Making me sick she's sorry. Dixie Carter makes my blood boil, and I'll get to that in another blog. But all I will say right now is that Dixie Carter to me is what Jeff Jarrett is to the Schlegdaddy on the offtheropesshow. She makes my blood boil. Anyway, she appoints Sting as the new GM of IMPACT Wrestling. Very interesting. Then Kurt Angle comes out and complains to the both of them. Robert Roode then comes out and says he's had enough of Angle's Bull****.
There was a sign that said it best regarding Robert Roode and Bound For Glory:
"Roode Got Screwed"
They try go set up Angle-Roode for tonight but couldn't because of a contract clause. That I thought was really stupid.
Then James Storm comes out and says he'll fight Angle for the title.
So we've got yet another World title match ON FREE TV Tonight!
And that was all the opening segment!
So, 45 minutes and four commercial breaks later, we FINALLY have our first match of the night, and it's for the knockouts title. Tessmacher and Tara defeated Wintergelina to retain.
Next up, the self-proclaimed King and Queen of Mexico come out and call out Jeff Hardy. Hardy comes out with new theme music and the two Jeff's get it on. Security attempts to separate the two, but does no good at attempting to do so.
Random Moment Of The Night: in the middle of that segment, D-Lo Brown and Al Snow go at it. Made absolutely no sense at all.
We then get another dumb backstage segment with Eric Young. Then Robbie E w/Rob Terry comes out and demands a TV Title Match. Robbie E then goes all Jersey and steals Zack Ryder's catchphrases.

Welcome Back Gail Kim.
Gail Kim returns to TNA and aligns with Karen Jarrett. Great to see Gail back home where we all know she will defiantly be used more. But,
Dear TNA,
GET MADISON RAYNE OFF OF MY TV!!! POR FAVOR!!!
Next up, Gunner comes out and cuts a promo on Abyss. Abyss then comes out and faces Gunner in a match. Originally advertised as Abyss vs. Scott Steiner, this actually made me very pleased because we have two young TNA talent going at it. Abyss defeated Gunner via surrender move on Gunner's part.
Next we see Eric Bischoff and what's left of Immortal come out and call out Hulk Hogan. Bischoff tells the world that he made Hulk Hogan who he is today when no one else did.
Sorry Eric, but the one man who was responsible for making Hulk Hogan who he is today is Mr. Vincent K. McMahon.
The Bisch then slaps the Hulkster and Hogan points at him. Immortal is about to attack when Sting makes the save. Bischoff then backs into his son Garrett, and Garrett knocks out his father.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I guess we can say that the thing between Bischoff and his son has become the Mr. McMahon vs. Shane McMahon of WC Dub, (clearing throat) I mean TNA.
Main Event Time! James Storm pins Kurt Angle in three minutes to become the new world champion!
The celebration begins and Fourtune celebrates with the beer. However, Storm pulls a play out of Kevin Nash's playbook, and tries to hand the belt to Robert Roode saying that the belt belongs to him. This is similar to what Kevin Nash did to Ric Flair on a 2000 episode of WCW Monday Nitro in which Ric Flair won his 16th World Title. This time however, Roode declined saying that Storm deserves it. The celebrations continue to end the show.
Congrats to James Storm on winning his first World Title, and Mike Tenay and Robert Roode said it best tonight. "You Deserve It."
But why didn't TNA just save this for Turning Point? And on top of all of that, if you were going to do this, why didn't you just have James Storm win the BFG Series? Come on TNA seriously!
TNA, your booking is so messed up right now. You should have saved this match for Turning Point, and have Storm-Roode at Final Resolution to end the year. Instead, you're giving both matches away ON FREE TV! You could make millions TNA, and you're throwing it all away. I think TNA should read my blog on how to change the organization, so they could better understand what I'm saying. TNA needs some serious help.
